So we go caroling at ARC homes which are residential homes for mentally handicapped people. The boys have been doing it for years. Its very sad for me just to think of these residents all alone on the holidays. At one of the houses we met a man named Jay. He wore a Captain America shirt. He welcomed us in his home. He sang with us! He thanked us. He was very nice. Two days later as we were driving past one of the homes, liam wanted to know if that was Where that SWEETHEART Jay lived Liam obviously loves Captain America. But, he was drawn to such a nice man. This is leaving a legacy. Someday my sons will be the ones leading friends in caroling for people who are often left out and forgotten! Do something. Love someone. Be the hope. Be the hug! Thank you Liam for calling that man a sweetheart!
