So we got home (after getting the truck towed and the camper home) from our not so great attempt at Halloween camping, we had our stew which was planned for dinner. We played boards games and enjoyed each others company. And we decided the following.... The oldest country kid and hubby would sleep in the camper in the driveway tonight. We can still camp, right? This camping trip is a family tradition, so tomorrow we will go to our campsite with our chairs, light us a fire and partake in all of the Halloween camping festivities that the state park will be hosting. We will roast our hot dogs and marshmallows, we will don our costumes for the parade, we will take that hay ride, do that scavenger hunt, and we WILL decorate our site (minus the camper) and trick or treat!!!! And when it dips to 30 degrees, we will run home to our warm beds! LOL
