So, we got to thinking about how to continue to help junebug out with her Megaesophagus issue and ways to keep her elevated to promote her ingestion. We purchased a pro collar today and plan on utilizing that into her routine and sleep starting now. But I still felt we can do more too. I would hate to limit her with no options other than a pro collar. So I thought, why not have an angled bed. When i searched for some I couldnt find any specifically for dogs with ME. SO, I built one along with the help of one of our volunteers and friends who is quite better at the art of upholestry and sewing than I. Needless to say. Here is the end result and I think it is AWESOME. We think junebug is content with it to as she is already adjusting fine to laying on it. It is waterproofed so any mess from regurgitating can be easily cleaned up by simply pulling the cover and tossing it in the wash. Now I just need to have her name embroidered on the cover and she is set! Thanks a ton for all the help and expertise Amanda M. Cook!!
