So we had a bit of a scare here out here tonight. Getting settled in and turned on the computer to hear some rattling at the picture window side screens. Sounded like someone was cutting the screen. ITurned off the living room lights and grabbed the .357 ...yelled to Kurt to do the same. He came running into the living room with a rifle in hand. We insured all doors were secure and heard Kami scream OMGOD they are trying to get into my window! Both Kurt and I headed to the Kamis room...like some kind of a military maneuver on steroids. Kurt pushed the curtains aside with the rifle as I stood by ready to fire.....heart pounding and ready to fire! A bird.....IT WAS A BIRD!!!!!!! WHAT IS A BIRD DOING OUT AT 10p at night? At least I know that we have this covered in the event of a real break-in...no drills, no talking...just reacting. Great job team Shultis!
