So we had an injured seagull limping around the marina earlier, - TopicsExpress

So we had an injured seagull limping around the marina earlier, who appeared to have a broken wing. Thankfully, Tarin from Citizens for a Healthy Bay was able to put us in contact with South Sound Critter Care, who took the little guy and will rehabilitate him before releasing him back to the wild, where he will likely find a cozy spot somewhere on some lucky boaters canvas and constantly beg for food! =) In all seriousness, South Sound Critter Care is the only non-profit wildlife rehab center in the entire South Sound region and they work tirelessly to save and nurture thousands of hurt mammals, waterfowl and migratory birds that would otherwise suffer intense pain while slowly dying from their injuries. They are staffed entirely by volunteers and are only able to operate due to grants and donations from caring citizens who care about the health and sustainable future of the incredible array of wildlife in our gorgeous region. Please visit their website and consider giving a small donation to help ensure that SSCC can continue providing this valuable service to our community! southsoundcrittercare/
