So we have had horrible experiences with Casa Sol in the past. I am still hesitant to post this review, but I like to post positive when I can, so here goes. Our first few experiences were met with awful service and unmemorable food. We only went back because it was National Margarita Day (which should be every day) and they were the closest tequila based rita to our home. We were seated right away and had a male server who was super friendly and had us questioning our past experiences. I cant comment much on my food or rita: my allergies had kicked into high gear and I couldnt taste anything. Hubby said his was good and my kiddo - who has a burger addiction - actually loved her cheese enchilada. We left there, cautiously optimistic. We went back a few nights later with my inlaws, to see if our experience had been a fluke. We got a different server who took a few minutes to appear, so we were a little concerned that we were right back where we started. That concern didnt last long, as she soon appeared and was quite attentive and helpful afterward. This time, I could actually taste stuff. The rita was not the best Ive ever had but was great, nonetheless. I was even more bummed I hadnt been able to taste the one a few nights prior, but shrugged it off and enjoyed the one I had in front of me. For food, I changed it up and got a shrimp dish that tasted great. Everyone enjoyed their food and service. We went inlawless (I made it a word for this review) today and had a nice lunch. We had the same female server and service was great again. I have to say that my taco salad (that I had been craving) was a little soggy toward the bottom, but did taste great. Hubby had no complaints about his beef enchilada...until he tasted our daughters cheese enchilada and liked hers better. lol. Three good experiences in a row! After the first few, I am pleasantly surprised to be able to say that we will be back! My optimism is still cautious, but Im gonna stick to it. :)
