So we have this new fun program at our workplace that our C.E.O in collaboration with some American trainers have recently launched called P.R & B.C.E.P program (Public Relations & Business Communication Exchange Program) it only applies to certain departments though (Marketters,P.R people & pia sisi junior Communication officers tuko included ;-) ) So how it works is,boss & his partners basically just shift us around their various offices in different parts of the country. Mfano unaweza tupwa Msa one wk then mtu wa Msa atupwe Nbi one wk na wa Nbi arushwe Naivasha or Nakuru or Kisumu & wa Machakos atupwe Eldoret or Meru one wk etc. etc.They just have the H.R master randomly shifting us around the country for a week each person.And we all just love the idea! I mean u get to travel,to stay in fancy 5 star hotels,eat lots of delicious free food hehe u know me ni katumbo! ;-) & meet new ppl in similiar profession at fancy conferences ;-) ni poa sana! :-* The curriculum emphasizes strategic thinking,adaptability,real-time client engagements,cross-platform story telling & beating nostalgia in business and is suppose to teach us how to think digitally & globally as an independent minded person without supervision. SO as we move around the country,we write reports back to Nbi headquarters & are required to also take videos (as in,just video simple ya phone yako ya kenye unadoo mahali uko na kenye ume learn iyo one week ukiwa huko) Then we are awarded marks based on individual reports. At the end of the program,(around mid March),they will then announce how each one of us performed & crown the person with most marks as ultimate winner WHO THEN WINS A 5.8Million LANDCRUISER 2008 model tusha onyeshwa picha za iyo gari GOSH! Ni white & sooo beautiful gosh! supuuuu! Aki woiye please plz plz pray for me to be the winner pals! Pwiiiiiz nataka iyo gari :-( hehe! I jus hope though wateva place they send me wont clash with my travel plans with my mentor NTVs Lolani Kalu who i recently go with to various counties in Kenya with our charity organization African Queen of Hearts Foundation where i am their publicity queen,spreading awareness on non-communicable diseases! A venture which i also love! *fingers crossed* hope zisi gongane yikes! Oh & si u can suggest this to ur organization as well.Its a great program.Write ur bosses a proposal for such! ;-) I promise yul enjoy & learn alot.Nyt love!
