So we just got Back from a cool call, had a animal rescue to do up in the mountains, a hiker had lost his dog 3 1/2 days ago up in the woods, he had been looking for his dog every day with no success, but today a jogger had heard some whimpering as he ran by and went off the road up the bank to find a deep sink hole and a dog in the bottom wanting out... The hole was 10-12 deep and straight up and down, with a spring in the bottom. Anyway, the jogger had seen some signs about a missing dog and went and called the owner, to the delight of the owner, his dog had been found, but he could get his dog out of the deep muddy wet hole he was in, thats where we come into the story, we are called to come get Ricky out of the hole. Well to make a long story short, we took ladders and ropes up to the location, lowered a ladder down into the hole, and sent Levi down the ladder to make friends with Ricky, he went down and comforted the dog and after several attempts to pick him up and carry him up the ladder, he was successful, a joyous reunion with his owner.
