So, we just got a couple of Canons new 10-18mm IS STM. Even ignoring the price, its a pretty incredible lens. Its less than half the price of the 10-22mm Canon, plus its stabilized, has an STM motor, and on top of that, actually tests sharper than any other Canon ultra wide zoom available at the moment, including their L lenses. Heres the standard shot from across the street shot at 1/250th at f/8 which looks great, but perhaps what is even more impressive are the next two shots: With the IS and ultra wide focal length, youre able to shoot low light, long exposure shots hand held with minimal blur. The first shot is at half a second, and while there is a bit of blur in the second, take note: Its shot at one second hand held, which is something unheard of before this lens. Come down and check one out, but dont expect them to last long. Supplies are always really tight when Canon first starts shipping new lenses.
