So we just got home, Brayden got his stitches out which was absolutely traumatizing for him as he has been sorta guarding the chest tube site which is right below the incision site, they think the stitch that was in the chest tube site was actually irritating it more, we are going to continue dressing it with a gauze bandage and just watch it, may start an oral antibiotic in a few days if it doesnt show signs of improvement. They really want to avoid using an antibiotic if at all possible, cuz of his other meds , thanks everyone for all of your prayers, hopefully it will heal up with no more issues, his next biopsy is scheduled for nov 7th, hoping we dont have to go back before then :) oh did I mention that today is actually 5 months since he received his amazing new heart! I have no words for how grateful We are to his donor and family, Brayden may still have medical issues but overall is doing extremely well!
