So we made an unplanned trip to Kowabungas, the new restaurant/arcade that opened up here in Sunbury today. Cant say it rivals higher end places like Hooplas as far as interior design goes, but their food is really good. Main emphasis is fried chicken, but they have burgers, sausages, pierogies. I guess youd call it homestyle or fair food. The arcade is pretty decent. Half is dedicated to video games of various natures, an air hockey game, claw machine, etc. The other half is skee-ball, whack-a-mole, and a variety of other ticket-awarding games including a Mario pinball machine and a very addictive Deal or No Deal game (which is where the real payout is if youre lucky). Keenan took $20 of his birthday money and we played all of the ticket games. Hit it big on DoND a couple times. He ended up winning 620 tickets and got a little squishy pink piggy as well as a pretty cool space blaster and decided to save his other almost-300-points for the next time we visit. Happy that he had such a great time on his birthday (and that it was MUCH more affordable than Hooplas or Chuck E. Cheeses) and that he had the self-control to SAVE :)
