So we may have ended our game of thrones campaign last night. Here is the final chapter. Alderen looked up at the throne then, glancing one last time at his companions, he slowly strode toward it, his blood soaked sword in hand. The mad king was dead. Twyin lanister as well, slain by Alderens own hand. The blade reflected the light mysteriouslyas it neared the throne. He felt his stomach clench in fear. He new he was not fit to be king, but he would hold the throne till Aegon arrived two days from then. He held no love for the king, and had long silenced declared loyalty to Aegon, hoping that he would sit the throne one day soon. The death of Brynden and Bengin stark were the spark to the powder keg, and now, it would be. He stepped onto the platform, just in front of that twisted seat, and turned toward his two companions, and sat. He almost lost himself in that moment realising that HE deserved to be king, that within one months time, he had gathered eight men, and taken the throne with their own power, unopposed. That now he could end the war in Essos before any more blood be shed, that he could fix the economy, and attend to righting the Mad Kings many wrongs. He could bring about a new era of happiness and joy. All he needed to do, was keep the throne. He began to smile. Wickedly, but then thought of the suffering he had seen. He could not right that. He could not truly do any of it. He would sit the throne. And do what he could, while he could, for the next three days, and then, give it to the rightful heir. grasping the hilt of the blade, he touched his head to it, leaning down, ever so weary. And ever so busy. ~Wizsirdmon
