So we moved into the apartment and the fridge was dismantled from being in storage for a year. Its not a normal fridge and it has an icemaker thing in the door and the stuff runs to the freezer. Anyway, its complicated and I couldnt assemble it no matter what I tried. So I call a couple guys and got one guy who can help he wants 250 for a service call even though its just the doors and ice thing hookup. Hes the only one I can reach. Ugh. So I make the appointment cus we need a fridge. I finally get a call back from Impact here in Corona and the guy says he cant believe the guy was charging that for the doors. He says he doesnt specialize in my brand but he thinks he can figure it out and fee is 65. So he sends the techy that very day and he puts it together in 20 minutes. He does the paperwork and says its 65. I write the check and give it to him. Right there Ive already saved nearly 200. He asks my youngest son what is his fave dinner spot and he says Subway. The tech gives me the check back and says go take the kids to Subway. He said the owner didnt like when people tried to take advantage of people and he wanted to do this for me. Of course I cried right there...then I took the boys to Subway. :) Another message of love in my life. Thanks for listening.
