So we went into a gift shop when we got to Denver to get a bottle of water and look for a mouse pad. This lady behind us commented that it was a curly line to checkout and that it was good knowing where she needed to be. I offered to let her go first and mentioned our connecting flight was delayed so we were in no rush. She nearly flipped when she heard how long it was delayed for. I tried to calm her down and tell her it wasnt a big deal to us. It was an adventure. She was having none of it and demanded we let her buy our water. There was no way we could refuse no matter what we said. She just asked that we pay it forward. It was such a humorous experience and not the reaction I was expecting to a simple offer to let her go first. We may have a delayed flight but were having a blast in Denver! :-)
