So we went on a long wandering walk last night that took us down - TopicsExpress

So we went on a long wandering walk last night that took us down quiet neighborhood streets, and on one street corner was a sign, maybe 9 feet tall, glowing through the fog, and as we approached it the green neon letters shone through the mist: God is Love and underneath: in memory of George H. Gruesbeck (not in neon) I read up on it and found that George had put this sign up in front of his house over 70 years ago, and a few years ago it was damaged and there was a possibility it would be removed, but the community came together to repair the sign and make sure it stayed there, and a local charity is even paying the electric bill for it. A neon sign with a religious message on it has the potential to be garish, but this simple loving message glowing through the foggy night, is really beautiful and moving to come across so unexpectedly on an out of the way residential street, and the love that put it up originally, and continues to maintain its place there, is felt!✨💚✨ Daniel Brugioni
