So we went to First Friday tonight in Putnam and for dinner ate at Jessica Tuesdays. I have a few favorites in Putnam and this place has quickly climbed the ladder to #1. They call themselves a deli and much of the menu consists of different sandwiches and salads and in addition to those items they have seasonal specials that vary. Several folks had the Chicken Pot Pie tonight and it looked really good, and I also saw the butternut squash ravioli that looked good as well. I have the Beef Bomb sandwich that cost $9.50 and it consisted of shaved black angus steak, house made poblano cheddar cheese sauce, caramelized onions & crispy garlic chips on toasted bulky roll. This was a fantastic sandwich and very filling. My wife had The Holy Grail for 10.50 and she loved it. That sandwich was a Pretzel roll filled with house pulled pork, house-made mango slaw, and melted cheddar cheese. She also had home made potato salad and I added their house made bread and butter pickles which came out as pickles and other vegetables that were pickled with the same flavor. I could have eaten a soup bowl of those veggies as they tasted so damn good. We actually ate outside as their was a guy playing his guitar and while it was a little cooler there was no wind and it was pleasant out there. No pictures today but I highly recommend giving this place a try. Very, Very, Very, Good food and as youll see, at a very reasonable price. jessicatuesdays/
