So....we were sitting around the table in the breakroom at work today....eating pizza and some gooey chocolate stuff for my birthday.....and I was reading (aloud) Sharon Zinks informative post about today in 1954 the first transistor radios hit the market....to which Wendy Rowden responded...Whats a transistor radio???? (Groan!) I feel OLD. Got home tonight....the boys had been out playing ball (smile) Ty had a sizeable bruise just above his knee where the ball hit him when Chad batted.....he was pretty proud.....and AMANDA had been in the sound room for 2 hours....figuring out how to hook it all up so we could get practicing for Monday night Wendys sing. She went in there....and opened up the first box where Mike had all the cords all packed neatly away....said she started to well up....but kept going.....and she got it done! Soooo proud of these kids. Heidi Davis and Amanda Jean Sheldon made it through their first FULL week of nursing school...Chad Sheldon has managed to hunt a couple times.....and always has hugs for his mom....and Tyler....same with the hugs....and hes managed to stay pretty light hearted for the most part. Ive shown all the cards and letters to them so they get an idea of the thoughts, prayers, and tears shed on our behalf. We are so grateful. There just arent words to express HOW grateful. Practicing songs was hard tonight.....Mike was my biggest fan....soooo yeah....its just not the same without him over there turning knobs and pushing buttons....but were going to keep singing....Amanda will make sure of that. ;) Its going to be a long process. I still havent unpacked his suitcase that he took to the meeting....lots to face...but trying not to fear tomorrow because God is already there. Love you ALL.
