So weather permitting... tomorrow I spend the day moving my onions. I finally figured out why my onions rot.... the box is right at the bottom of a very small hill that is part of a much bigger hill that makes up my neighborhood...All the rain and all of the runoff water from people on the street watering their gardens and lawn...all run into my onion box. My onions are simply to wet. Moving them to not so full boxes and flowerbed (if I have to) and moving all my mints to the to wet bed where they will be happy. Gonna have a crop of onions this year so help me! :) This is why this year is the experimental veggie garden...finding out what the veggies/herb needs and where its the happiest so that next years garden is more productive and easier manage
