So weird to read my journal from last year at this time…it was this night that we crashed an Indian Wedding!!! lol What an amazing trip. Reading through my journal this morning, it was on October 10, 2014-- Pastor JIm Behrendt had asked all of us, what was something God was trying to teach us on this trip. After listening to everyone else, my response was God is teaching me to expect the unexpected, dont ask why there are pigs(that no one eats) at the train station, goats sitting on the median in the middle of a busy city street eating grass, pictures of food on a menu that you really cant order, plug ins with no actual plug in behind them, cows roaming the streets, rickshaws, monkeys on the roof, Indian Stretchable Time, trash, mopeds, chickens, beautiful little girls stuck in a village without hope but full of joy…dont question, just go with it. Fast forward to today…unexpected…yeah, thats the understatement of the century!! Didnt expect to have a beautiful house that wont sell, or 15 years of work experience and cant find a job. Fortunately through it all, God has stuck with me and pushed me past my point of comfort and continues to love me despite my downfalls and doubts. As I continue to daily try to lift the armor that he has given me, I try to remember, that he has protected me from some of the arrows that satan has shot at me that I didnt even know were there, in the past and in the present time. Praise the Lord that his love endures forever.
