So were closing in on that magical 5,000 number here on this ol facebook page. Pretty darn neat. I remember being so excited when i hit 500.. Just the idea that that many people knew about me and my music was incredible. It still feels that way, and I think it always will. The best part about it is that (Im pretty sure) youve all come here on your own behalf. I would much rather have ten people who honestly give a shit than a million who liked the page because of a contest, or because their friend begged them to, or some sort of reciprocal Ill like yours if you like mine bullshit. The best and most natural way for me (or any musician) to grow an audience is through word of mouth and the sharing of music. Its been a real pleasure getting to know so many of you, and trying to bring a little bit of entertainment to your days, but mostly its just been nice to know that there are folks out there to listen to my thoughts. Its very close to therapy. Your check is in the mail. So, thanks for your ears, thanks for your laughter, thanks for every kind word. Rest assured that I will continue to be here, and regardless of successes or failures, I will always be the one posting, the one reading your comments, the one who (REALLY) meant to respond sooner, the one using FAR too many commas, and the one who will forever be in your debt for the support youve given me.
