So weve had a tough time getting settled I here, not because it is Italy but because I dont exist until I am command sponsored which could not be done until my official retirement date. The good news though is that paperwork has routed to the LRS commander. Hopefully she signs it soon so I can get my car and license. Frank is possibly going TDY in a few weeks, not sure what I would do without a license. Found out good news, I do not have to go to the US to get my Visa. All the research and phone calls made prior to our arrival were correct. It is unfortunate that when we arrived someone told us different, very upsetting. Our household goods are here which is amazing considering we packed out mid-June. You win some and you lose some! : )
