So, weve noticed a lot of you are trying to find tickets to AXP... so now is time to have *that* talk. Scalping tickets (that is selling tickets above their sale price for profit) is SO frowned upon at AXP, and indeed at any Monash event. Not only are you ripping off your fellow students, youre actually committing a crime. And weve decided to put a stop to it. Weve got a team of Activities ninjas going through all Monash public pages to see if anyones advertising any tickets above cost price, and whoever is will be reported to their faculty, which could lead to disciplinary action from the University. The scalpers tickets will also be confiscated. We have already got quite a few claims we are investigating. If youre selling your ticket for what you paid for it, you wont get in trouble or reported, we understand stuff comes up and you may not be able to make it. But anyone making money off other students who missed out will face the consequences. If anyone gets a message from someone wanting to sell them a ticket above cost price, message this page and well handle it. Dont resort to paying that much for a ticket to AXP, theres always next semester! And if youre ripping others off, do the right thing by everyone, especially the multiple hundreds of people we had to turn away. xx Activities Chairs and the ninjas
