So what about this verse? Psalm 1:5 Therefore the wicked will - TopicsExpress

So what about this verse? Psalm 1:5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; Your assumptions will determine how u understand this verse. 1. Western religion will insist that this verse means that unbelievers or the wicked will be eternally lost in the judgment. That its too late to change. That they will never be able to unite with the saved at the judgment and that endless agony awaits them. Right?! 2. A lot of padding and spinning just took place in point one. All because of western conditioning. So heres another way of looking at the verse. 2. Sinners at the judgment will never join with the righteous whilst they remain sinners. 3. Can sinners change their minds after the final judgment? Zephaniah 3;8-9 8 Therefore wait for me, declares the LORD, For my decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them my indignation, all my burning anger; for in the fire of my jealousy all the earth shall be consumed. 9 For at that time I will restore and change the speech of the peoples to a pure speech, that all of them may call upon the name of the LORD and serve him with one accord and unity 1. Here we have a clear picture of the final judgment of all sinners from the nations 2. They do not get thru the judgment. They experience wrath fire n get consumed but wait ... 3. They end up purified n restored. 4. They are changed by God as they pass thru the wrath and fire after the judgment 5. They call on the name of The Lord and are saved. 7. They do in fact end up in unity with the righteous. But they did not stand as sinners. God changed them thru his purifying fire. Western assumptions need to go!! Thank you Zama Zammy Xulu for asking me about this verse.
