So what are considered good snacks? You should be eating 5 times a day every 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Shake, snack, Shake, snack Dinner. Protein is important for your snack. If possible you want to try to have a little protein and vegetable in every snack. Snacks can even be a tiny meal, something we like to call schmeals. This could be like a small salad with chicken. Other basic snacks could be: a hard boiled egg, almonds, apple and string cheese, some turkey, or carrots. You should never feel hungry on a program the goal is not to starve you!
