So what can I say about last weeks market? Um….so….I hope that never happens again?? WOW, what a storm!! But we managed to get through it -- it was amazing to watch the vendors as they all pulled together to help each other out; all of a sudden the lights went out and down came the sheet of water. BUT before all that went down, the day was fantastic! 3 blocks of fun, shopping, eating, socializing, and activities for everyone. Our very own Mendel was victorious in the pie eating contest, and George Buttals of the RCMP even took the time for a little fun - he swung that hullahoop like there was no tomorrow! So now…onto this week! Tomorrow 8:00 - 2:00, Wednesdays Farmers Market -- I can pretty much guarantee we will not see any rain; so head down and enjoy a nice day wandering through the market!
