So, what did you guys think of the Success story? Feel free to share your comments. As planned, we are starting to publish the highlights from our achievements in Somalia in June today!! Here we go: In May DRC concluded community mobilization activities in the following communities of Faraweyne: Aydarosh,BanderAman, Dabolaq, Farawine town, WadoMakahil, Caro Madow, WadoBariis, Goryo,Garabis, and Da’arta. The activities in these villages are funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. Our team visited the community of Iftin in Badhan on 2nd June 2013. The community in Iftin had constructed a community centre with the first cycle of grants. During the visit, the team found out that the general participation and ownership was good. he community was able to implement both a school conference hall and a market, with the support from DRC and from Africa Education Trust (AET).
