So what do we do now that we are not under the law??How do we lead holy respectful lives?? The bible tells us how to get rid of ALL the worldly lusts, thoughts and behaviours. Look at 1 John 2 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. read carefully it says the love OF the father NOT the love FOR the father!!! There is a very big difference and this is where most miss it. IT IS NOT US RECOGNIZING OUR LOVE FOR GOD BUT INSTEAD REALIZING HIS LOVE FOR US. You must know and believe that God will never be angry with you again even when you sin. He is not out to punish you but to lavishly bless you. See God better than the best dad you have ever had. Simply because you are righteous by faith in Christ,God cannot help but love you as He loves Christ for you are IN CHRIST.
