So what good is reading the Bible if youre just simply reading it then tossing it to side for more dust collecting without imbedding what you have read into your heart and at least putting forth some kind of effort in trying to apply it to your everyday life? NONE!! Thats right, there is no good in that! Thats no different than reading a MAD Magazine! The Bible is not just a book. It is the spoken Word of Gods Holy Truth. It is a way of life and teaches us proper living in honor of God our Creator. It instructs us on what we must do to avoid hell and get to heaven. Reading without application means nothing and does nothing for us. We must read, study, memorize, apply, and share the Word with others or our time spent reading it is fruitless.
