So, what weve seen over the last week regarding #ALS#IceBucketChallenge were people throwing ice cold water over themselves to illustrate what it feels like to actually have ALS. Many fidgeting, screamed between the feeling of both joy and pain at the same time. While we admire the valiant efforts to raise funds for the disease, its a far cry of the actual depiction to one truly experiencing ALS. Wed like to think of it like the barbells we move. A barbell is motionless, and unable to move or function without the help of others. Now, thats ALS.
