So, whats Pandoras argument? Its unfair that they are being asked to pay royalties that are equal to terrestrial radio stations? Um, isnt that like an auto manufacturer crying because they have to pay money to parts suppliers? Its not fair! We cant sell our cars because people wont work for free and give us are parts for free. Boo hoo. Five writers of hits by stars like Beyoncé and Christina Aguilera showed that 33 million plays on their songs on Pandora yielded just $587.39 in royalties for them. I keep hearing that music in the cloud and internet radio is the future. Um, if internet radio cant turn a profit, then shouldnt it just go away? Who said we have to save that crap?
