So, whats going on at Smokey this weekend? Well, lets just say the hill has just received 83cm of fresh snow! The kind of stuff skiers and riders only dream about - freshly groomed, and powder runs for every skill level. All ski lifts are open and waiting for you! If thats not enough, lets start all this off with the hill opening tomorrow for Friday night ski from 6pm to 9pm - try to get there early to be the first to carve up that fresh corduroy snow. Now, lets talk about the food...yes, food. If youve been craving that perfect barbecue and, perhaps, are a little turned off by going outside to cook...no worries, Smokey has you covered! Our open pit barbecue is ready to go around 6pm - bring your steaks, fixings, plates, and utensils, and join us! Our Friday Night Barbecues are something that people are raving about, and is a great family night out. Thats not all for the food...the canteen will be open, serving up all the stuff I bet you cant wait to sink your teeth into. Later, you can join in with Neil Simmons with open mic, where you can bring your own instruments, voice, and laughter. The bar will be open, so you can get all your favourite beverages, the way you like them. Saturday, all the skiing/riding starts all over again, only longer! Were open 10am to 4pm, with really nice temperatures for the entire weekend. Dont forget, our gals in the canteen will be serving up breakfast hot and ready to order.
