So whats your opinions on fixing a pet.? My boyfriends am staff. Escaped from the yard and we went nuts looking for him. The shelter called us saying they found him . they are threatening to seize his dog IG he doesnt pay 250 and fix him if he doesnt wanna fix him he has to pay 500 dollars. I feel it should be a choice and thats a lot of money . I feel like the 250 is reasonable for the cost of housing the dog and what not but 500 or losing your pet is extreme. I know fixing is smart and healthier but I still think it should be a choice and they shouldnt force the owners hand.
