So when debates break out in class and people go way off topic in their weekly tangents (often like they do in work meetings), I usually tune it out and jump on FB or check email. Im aware of my surroundings, but Im uninterested. Then out of the blue (it never fails), Ill hear something that peaks my interest or makes me think just a bit...Ill ask a question for clarification and BAM! The debate is over. Just like that. Why? Because neither of the arguing parties understood what the other was saying, and the debate just keeps going around and around in circles until the answer to one simple (and stupid) little question clears up what an entire 15-20 minute argument failed to do. This is the education Im paying for?? I can NOT wait til this is all over! Just two more classes....just two more!!
