So when did it get to the point when wearing red or blue on air on Election Day showed you were partial to one side or the other ? I have covered elections for more that 30 years and up until the past few years I would consider what looked based on that years set. But the last few years , even if there were both colors on my attire I would get (a few) emails concerning the most prominent color. Of course this feedback was from extremes on either side ...not the norm...but its unfortunate a simple blazer has to be scrutinized . So today.... Its a mix ... Im going purple.
