So, when my son started school he first went to the Bedford - TopicsExpress

So, when my son started school he first went to the Bedford Montessori School. 1st and 2nd grade I sent him to a private school in Bedford called the Kellogg School.( 2 classrooms, have the same teacher for 4 years ) He was not keeping up with all the other kids but, I lived off of Mitchell Street and was scared to death to send him to Bakersville because of the horror stories and bad project kids. ( so they say ). I came to grips that my son did indeed have a learning disability and would best be served in a public school with special education teachers. I was frantic as the best schools in Bedford could not help him like he needed. ( I also sent him to Sylvan Learning of Bedford to make him better, to no avail ) I want to take a moment to thank a few teachers from Bakersville & Memorial High hoping someone here knows them and can thank them for me. Bakersville changed his life!!!!! Bakersville: 3rd grade Miss Bickford , 4th grade Miss Shubert, 5th grade Miss Berube, and the BEST BEST special education teacher on this planet Ms SUE DIETZ! She went beyond the call of duty to help my son Zak. He loved her so much that she would let him stay after school with her and let him help after school classes. She and the staff at Bakersville changed his life for the best, ( and it was free ). Now I want to thank Keith Bike from Memorial for making sure Zak got his diploma from school. All you folks who bash Bakersville, shame on you.My son is now a young man with an education and a great job because teachers from Bakersville took the time and patience to help him, I am forever indebted to these teachers. THANK YOU I hope they see this :)
