So when our little boy was born may 10th we asked the nurses in the room to check for lip and or tongue tie on him and they looked briefly and said no problems. Im so angry I didnt look myself. At his 2 month check up I specifically told the ped doc that I think his lip is tied and he told me it wouldnt affect anything and there is no reason to worry. Im absolutely livid now bc hes 12 weeks and has major lip tie and I am calling tomorrow to talk with them on what to do now. Have any if you had to go in and get a revision done? And how long does it take to get in? And FYI mommas to be, BE STERN FOR THEM TO PROPERLY CHECK and check it yourself bc ties cause problems for more than just nursing moms, it is a possible speech impediment issue and gapped teeth.
