So where I am at right now is a place called Lake Atitlan, in Guatemala. It is a lake formed from the explosion of massive prehistoric volcano, that became 3 volcanos surrounding the lake. This lake being a crater of a volcano is so deep that scientist can only speculate as to its dept. With in the last decade, an ancient mayan temple was discovered submerged under water somewhere in the middle of the lake. There is several towns around the lake that are reachable by a cheap 20 minute boat ride. Each town is unique and different. One town San Pedro, is known as a party town, the town of Panachel is like a giant outdoor mall of Mayan wares, and then you have San Marcos, which is a quite town with a strong pull to spiritual seekers attracting massage therapist and yogis. What ever it is your looking for can be found here, and all with the backdrop of one of the most naturally beautiful scenerys. This place is to say the least amazing, and its very dear to my heart, a cosmic vortex that draws you in and beckons you to stay. I hope to share this place with as many of you out there as possible.
