So while I love being at home, I do not like being a prisoner... even when my road gets sanded, I still have a long icy, slanted driveway to deal with... I have a little bit of sand left over from last winter (thanks Mike!!) but my dilemma is that its too heavy to carry, I could take it by the shovelful and start at the bottom of my driveway but to be honest Im a little afraid of the downward slant that leads to the end of my driveway! This mornings trek to the bus stop was scarier than yesterday and it took us 4 minutes just to make it to the end of the driveway!! Having it dark when we leave doesnt help and Cameron wiped out once on the way, close to the end of the road. The trek home in daylight is much easier, although there was a minor meltdown moment by the brook and my favourite pine tree... luckily the wind came and calmed me and I was able to compose myself and plod on. The best part of the day... Cameron and I saw a fairy this morning ;)
