So while I think its important to punish bad behavior, I also think it is important to reward good behavior. So an idea that I have (all criticism welcome...its just an idea that may or may not work) is that we start rewarding businesses that pay their employees decent living wages by giving them some tax breaks as an incentive, and penalizing the businesses that pay the employees less, causing their underpaid workers to get tax paid government services to make ends meet so the business owners and CEOs can have more for themselves. If businesses hire people, and pay their employees decent living wages, they shouldnt be penalized by paying more taxes to support the growing number of underpaid workers of these big businesses and corporations. Whats the feedback on the idea? Obviously a decent living wage would have to be established and stuff, so lets talk!
