So, while Jonathon and brother Tim were hunting I went fishing. I was sitting on the dock all by my lonesome fishing away. Decided to check my bait and this fish jumped up to steal my bait which was still on the hook. This fish got himself hooked right then and there. Im all excited and thinking Im gonna catch a lot of fish. But nooooooooo!!! No more. Two hours I sat there to my dismay and yet I decided I had to be very entertaining to those riding by because there this lone and random person was sitting there fishing. I finally went to the truck where I waited and waited and waited and waited. Until, I decided after an hour Id go fish some more. However, this was a bad idea because the mosquitoes were there and had taken over. Thus to my dismay back to the truck I went where I waited 2 more hours. Good thing I had my iPad and was able to stay busy because those hunting fools took two more hours before they were done hunting. They got a duck and I got a fish and Im all happy about my one fish. I mean really excited because Im sort if thinking that maybe the fish I caught was one if those sheepshead, which are fun to catch, but you dont keep them. However, I thought I realized that the fish wasnt croaking and perhaps it was 1) not a sheepshead or 2) its croaker was broken and hubby could tell me either way. After showing the fish to hubby he tells me I had caught a large mouth bass and should not have kept it because it was to short. Like I knew this. Thank goodness the game warden didnt come by. So how was your day folks?
