So while at Harper-Archer Middle School today there were four 7th grade African-American males sitting at my table during lunch. They asked if I was the Baseball Man and I proudly replied yes. They said that they remembered me from visiting their elementary school. I gave them each a flier for our upcoming L.E.A.D. tryout. Some of the media would suggest that I ask them if their father lives at home with them or if their mother can afford a $300 bat. The media also suggests that if they reply with a no, I should take my flier back. I cant wrap my brain around the notion that the media would say that black kids dont want to play baseball. Repeat that 10 times and tell me if it doesnt sound ludicrous every time. Im not saying that all black kids on earth want to play baseball but thousands of them do play. 1. Stop telling them that they cant play. 2. Start promoting organizations like L.E.A.D. 3. Hold the media accountable if you believe in Gods mission for me. youtu.be/WF0FXj87PYg
