So while cooking dinner I was talking with the kids about the benefits of salting and peppering food. Watermelon was a big part of our day, and I told them that salt makes watermelon explode (as in huge flavor). They proceed to go outside with slices of watermelon and the salt grinder. I watch through the window to see how much they like it. What I see is four kids standing around a plate laying on the ground with a slice of watermelon on it, all four kids staring at it. They came back in, disappointed, saying nothing happened.
