So while we were at the beach last week, David showed me a welted area on his side, about where his ribs are. He said it was tender and painful. Wasnt radiating heat, but the red area got a bit bigger each day. Saw some spots that looked like it couldve been a spider bite, which had me concerned about brown recluse bites. Then some other stuff showed up. Went to dr today, and he said it was shingles. Ive had shingles twice, and if thats it, boy, do I feel for my hubby. He rarely complains, but he is very uncomfortable....hope he feels better soon...I remember how painful it was.
