So will this pass the Metro or not? The latest track shows the center of Hagupit will be about 65 km south of Manila at around 4 am. At that point carrying wind speeds of about 100kph(1-min) or about 85 kph (10-min) at the center. However at that distance, the metro will be in the outer radius of winds of about 62kph (1-min) or 53kph (10 min), or minimal Tropical Storm strength, boundary Tropical Depression strength. What to prepare for: Tropical Storm winds as it comes closer, so at any rate, be ready for the higher end wind. So be alert for 62-100 kph MSW (53 to 85 kph 10-min MSW)
