So with all the do something nice challenges going on following the ice challenge (which I wouldnt do because it is imposed upon you)... I did something very nice today. I actually saved a life... Since it topped 100º today for the first time in a while I made a vodka and tonic and went for a dip in the pool this afternoon. When I got in I saw a butterfly had gotten too close to the water and was stuck to the water. I gently picked him up in the cup of my hand and put him on the crushed granite in one of the landscaped areas around the pool so he could dry his wings off and fly away. I had heard the scream of the butterfly and decided that his life was more important than my vodka tonic. I swam to the other side of the pool still in the sun to get my D for 15 minutes and then swam back. He was gone! made the V&T much more enjoyable!
