So with all this new uncertainty of the new Facebook messenger app, I did NOT jump on the bandwagon and immediately delete it. I embraced it. I wish I didnt. I restored Joeys phone a couple days ago - and also downloaded the new messenger app on it. Almost immediately it started making sporadic phone calls and FaceTime calls at ALL hours of the day and night. My phone did not do that but I only had the application on my phone for a few days before I deleted it. Joeys phone started doing all kinds of crazy stuff and is no longer functioning. We had to give him Chloes phone until our upgrade came in. SO with that being said, please please please be smart and careful with the messenger app. It might not happen on your phone because it didnt happen to mine, but it did happen to Joeys. Be careful.
