So, with precisely ten minutes to go on today, the first day of the month, I am keeping a fun little new commitment to myself: for the first time, and I imagine from now on, Heron Saline Hypnosis is celebrating Employee of the Month!!!!!! And since I am a sole practitioner in self-employment, I am delighted to say that I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my god, thank you, thank you SO much!!!! So, with a not-so-serious creative effort to celebrate myself and my work to help disseminate my talents, interests, skills, and gifts for understanding, analyzing, honoring, and working with inner-world processes and experiences--the realms of body, thought, emotion, attitude, and intention--tonight I want to thank myself for sticking with it for fourteen years despite not being a natural businessman; for making it through especially in the last four or so years of severe recession; for asking for and receiving help when I needed it; for risking and succeeding in engaging with difficult, intense, sometimes exhausting, breathtakingly beautiful healing self-examination and -care both to develop myself and also to learn the processes so that I can bring my gleanings and gems to others who also want to boogie on their own good path. Hooray for me!!! It is an amazing joy to do the work I do. Those who entrust themselves to me offer me an exquisite and unspeakable gift of intimacy as I am present with them in their growth and learning. Thank you, Life! Thank you, everyone.
