So yesterday I cheated death, I was hit by a car. If wasnt for a phone call I would have been dead probably. I was crossing at the amber lights where the zebra crossing means vehicles should slow down while approaching and completely stop when pedestrians are making their way across. I looked both ways I checked my surroundings, on the opposite side the kind lady stopped, while the guy approaching at least 300ft away decided to continue and at an increased pace...because apparently I was to hurry across the road like a chicken in fear, so he could be about his business...my phone vibration on my right side pocket brought my attention to the on-coming car and I was able to pull up and lean back as far as I could. I was still side swiped and spun around, and my hands were knocked very hard! Im fine now no scratches no swelling...moral here is Im insuring my hands! I needed to do that a while now, this is affirmation that I will be doing it.
