So, yesterday I went to Office Depot/Max (whatever its calling itself this week) to buy a file cabinet. After spending 30 minutes trying to decide which one (features vs necessary functions), i settled on a nice, prominently displayed model, a little pricier than I wanted, close to $200 for only a 2 drawer high, but slightly wider version (each drawer could handle two sets of standard sized rows of folders). When I ask a stock person to get me one, he said that it was one of the larger ones (ummmm... not really), and that it had to be delivered. Okay, fine... what is the time frame that I have to be home for them to deliver? 9 to 5. shit thats not good, but okay, can I specify a saturday or sunday? No, they only deliver Monday - Friday. Im like... hmmmm, deliveries only happen Monday - Friday, 9-5.... when most people would be away at work. .... Office Depot, why do you bother to even open your doors any more? Just go out of business and save yourself the heartache. I went to Staples, found the perfect file cabinets for the sale price of $40, bought two, will probably go back to buy 2 or 4 more. Thats how you stay in business, give the people what they want, when they want it. Stupid Office Depot/Max.
