So yesterday I went to pick up Jax from daycare and walked by an obviously down on his luck man sitting on the curb with his few possessions next to him. I know there are homeless in Eau Claire but I never see too many if them. I guess it struck a chord with me that while Im not rich I do have a lot in my life while this guy had everything he owned in a paper sack. On the walk back I grabbed the only thing I had in my wallet. A $20 bill and some granola bars from my van. I handed it to him. He stood up kinda teary eyed hugged me and blessed me and told me how much it meant. Made me feel good that a small gift could mean so much. Jax asked if I knew him n I said no. He asked why I gave him money and I said because he needed it more than me. Jax said I did a good job :). When life gets you down always remember there are others with worse problems. Now that my faith in humanity speech is done I will go back to posting political jokes and funny videos. Have a great day everyone.
